The American people are wrong. We need strict gun control now to keep us all from killing each other

People who want to kill people will always find a way to acquire a gun. In a society where guns are already so widespread, there is very little that can be done in form of gun control to rein this in. What can be done is a mandatory waiting period, a thorough background check, and limits as to who has the right to own a gun. None of this would have stopped what happened in Tuscon. Other things that need to be done: end concealed carry permits, discourage the ownership of handguns except for self defense in the home. I am not sure that regulating the size of the magazine really helps as a lunatic will just carry more guns.
